I have really been loving spring citrusy hues more than usual lately (ehem hence my blog title). Pretty pinks, oranges and yellows make me so excited for both spring and summer! 

So when Marley Lilly recently sent me a monogrammed baseball hat, you can bet I was pretty pumped. Nothing is better than bright orange adorned with a monogram ;)

The Perfect Shirtdress

Hey girls!

I love love love shirtdresses. They can easily be dressed up or dressed down. Perfect for the pool or a night on the town! (Ok I just realized that rhymes... haha!) I think shirtdresses have the right amount of prep while still being a little boyish.

In Bloom

I thought I would share a few floral snapshots I've taken lately. Our house is filled to the brim with flowers and I am loving every minute of it! I currently have 3 little vases filled with flowers in my bedroom.... ;) I guess that saying "April showers bring May flowers" really is true!

I wanna see your stacks!

Hey friends!

I wear some sort of stack everyday and love looking at what other people wear as well. And since I get my "stackspiration" from other bloggers and fashionistas, I thought why not have a readers edition where you can send me a picture of your favorite stack?! I will post them all (with your permission of course) so everyone can get some new ideas! I think people's arm parties say so much about them as a person.

A healthy alternative to popcorn

Happy weekend loves!

Summer is starting to become visible on the horizon and that means one thing: finals. Ugh. It's my first year of "real" high school exams but we had them last year and I totally understand the horror. Studying every night in addition to homework? Not fun!

What makes the whole process easier, though, is being in a well rested, healthy mood. My concentration and energy levels are much better when I live a healthier lifestyle so I am going full force into healthy ways! Is it nerdy that I find it fun to be healthy? hehe

So... today I thought I would share with you a healthier alternative to the good ole' buttery movie theatre popcorn. It's a lighter alternative and still gives you that delightful buttery taste (and unfortunately, residue on your fingers). Ahhh.

Meet: Skinny Pop!

It's only 39 calories a cup and cholesterol, nut and dairy free!  (By the way we got the jumbo size as Costco-- normal bags aren't this big!)

For a little extra flavor I top it off with some Lawrys seasoned salt (pictured above). Mmmmm

Yummmm. Maybe I'll start bringing it to the movie theatre with me! The great thing about it is that you don't feel heavy and sick after eating it, like normal popcorn.

Sunday Styling: Graduation Party Edition

Happy Sunday!

I am so sad to see all of the lovely seniors graduate this year. I have gotten to know so many of them through sports, clubs, etc. and am really going to miss them. However, that means graduation parties to celebrate their last hurrahs! 

I have multiple graduation parties coming up for 2 of my cousins and family friends so I have had to get creative with what to wear. Many times a lot of the same people are at the several parties, so it is important to make all of your outfits look different!
